All metal parts are silver plated. The insulating material is high-temperature ceramic.
Cooling of the tube in use is done by directing air across the socket.

SK1510A Eimac Tube Socket (NOS)
These sockets are designed to be used with Eimac tube types 8349/4CX35,000C, 8351/4CV100,000C, and 4CW100,000D.
With the tube set in place in the socket, the positioner engages the base of the tube and the positioner handle is then turned to pull the tube securely into the socket and retain it.
All metal parts are silver plated. The insulating material is high-temperature ceramic.
Cooling of the tube in use is done by directing air across the socket.
